Using the Fire Prism from #11 on this pedestal will result in a Greater Fire Blight being trapped in the middle of the room. There will be a random gem in these hidden niches. There will be plenty of Fire Blights and Spectres to fight in this room. That means it won't be able to participate in the battle at #23. Using the Earth Prism from #16 on this pedestal will result in a Greater Earth Blight being trapped in the middle of the room. The niche here will have a random scroll, random gems and some coins. She leaves behind an Awakened Adra when killed. There will be plenty of Earth Blights in this room, along with an Adragan that is capable of petrifying party members. Here are the stairs back up to the sixth level of Endless Paths. They leave behind Spirit Residues when killed. There will also be several Shades and Spectres throughout the level as well. They leave behind Primal Rocks, Primal Flames, Primal Waters and Primal Winds respectively when killed. I dont know if you need this or not, but heres an old guide I used when I started. There will be plenty of Earth Blights, Flame Blights, Rain Blights and Wind Blights throughout this level. Once you understand how the stats work and what talents do, the game becomes very easy outside of PotD difficulty. You dont need to min/max, especially on normal difficulty, but it definitely helps to do so enough to be competent on at least your main. Stuff like that changes the difficulty a lot. If I had done that, id never miss attacks and damage reduction wouldn't matter as much, so I'd kill things rather than tanking hits for 5 minutes. For instance, my dual-spear barbarian wearing plate armor was missing nonstop, was slow, and had bad stats, whereas I should've done something like dual stilettos with light armor with high dex/might/per. It doesnt fully matter what your companions have specced, because theyre all built badly in terms of stats, but your main being built correctly changes the game from difficult to easy very quickly. My advice is to look up character builds for at least your main, whatever you choose to play. I went through specific zones under-leveled and didnt realize I was making the game more difficult than it should be. I picked the wrong talents and did things suboptimally regarding weapons/armor and how attack speed and hit chance works. I was using a dual-wielding spear barb, and I'd miss attacks constantly. When I played the game the first time, I heard it didn't matter what your build was on normal, so I did whatever looked cool, and it made the game more difficult than it should've been. A lot of it has to do with main character builds, what weapons your using, and your level imo. I've played and quit POE1 multiple times in the past before it finally somehow clicked for me and became very easy, so I can relate.
